I can’t say enough amazing things about this business! I’m from Omaha and had visited family in Kansas City, on my way back home my car broke down in St Joe. It was a Saturday morning, nobody was open. I did a search, and Kruse’s Auto had the best reviews. And I agree! I got my car towed and parked at their shop and rented a car to get home to Omaha. I called them first thing Monday morning, and found out that they are really busy for weeks. Craig told me he would take a look at my car and at least see what was going on because I was from out of town and traveler/stranded no vehicle. So nice! I thought he might get to it at the end of the day or a day or two, he called me three hours later! Diagnosed the problem said it’s a pretty easy fix and he can have this done tomorrow. What! Yay! He called me early Tuesday afternoon and said he’s getting ready to do my vehicle, got the parts, made the time, but my lug nuts have a lock and they couldn’t find the key anywhere in my car. I recently got one new tire and the tire business put new lug nuts on all my tires and forgot to give me a key. Luckily there was a branch of this business in Saint Joe. Craig from Kruse’s personally went to this tire store and got my key! But there were a handful of phone calls between many businesses and text messages and photos and it wasn’t an easy thing. He did that for me! They were so kind to me every time we were on the phone and they went of their way to help me! After all that when I got a ride back down to Saint Joe, the next day, Wednesday, it also cost 100 bucks less than he estimated! Even before I knew about the cost, due to their kindness, I felt compelled to bring them a treat. These are good people, running a good honest business. Thanks Craig and Jeff! Hope you enjoyed the Indoor S’More Bars!

Kruse Auto went above and beyond our expectations. We were looking for an auto shop being that the previous one we were going to had closed. Our car was towed over there and less than 24 hours later we had a diagnosis and he was planning on ordering the parts to fix it, the next day they let us know of another problem with the car something that we honestly had been dealing with for months and ignoring, and he told me what it would cost to fix it and how they would fix it. He gave me the option to fix it also or just let it be. We chose to get her car running smoothly. So within 48 hours our car left their lot running better than it had in over a year with a price that I was very pleased to pay. I highly recommend.

After flying in to KC and picking up our van we found the catalytic converters were cut out. We made it as far as St Joseph before being stranded. USE THIS PLACE OVER ANYWHERE ELSE!! These guys do a phenomenal job. After flying into Kansas City at 2 am, we noticed our van we needed to drive 5 hours had its catalytic converters. Made it to Saint Joseph’s at 4 am and waited for them to open. Even though they are booked out 2-3 weeks, they took 2 hours of their day to make sure we got squeezed in to check what was wrong with our van. After diagnosing and moving some things around, they fixed it enough for us to get on the road. They’re super friendly, helpful, selfless people. Most places wouldn’t blink an eye and just say no. Not these guys. Absolutely saved us.

Kruse’s towed my car when the engine blew. My adult kids were driving it and had my 2 grandchildren with them. I was recommended to Kruse's by a church member who gave me a card for a free oil change. I have had numerous things fixed on my Jeep Liberty in the last two months and I am totally impressed with their knowledge and workmanship. Some of my repairs have been pretty expensive but not out of line with Today's costs. They guarantee all repairs they make which is unusual now a days and complete repairs in a timely manner and don't perform unnecessary repairs.I will not hesitate to recommend them to others and will return there for all future auto maintenance.

The People at Kruse's are WONDERFUL! We were in St. Joe and my truck broke down. They picked us up, took as back to the shop so the truck could be towed. The let me know that a valve spring break, dropped a valve, but did not damage the piston or cylinder. . .got lucky. Anyway, they gave me several options, and took care of the repairs, kept in touch, quoted almost exact costs, and the truck is running wonderfully. I cannot say enough positive about Jeff and Craig, they were Great. I only wish they were closer, experiencing their customer service and the great job they did was refreshing. . .THANKS GUYS!!!!

I was on my way back to Lincoln, Nebraska, after a weekend in Kansas City with my fiance. We were on the interstate when my car died. AAA towed us to Kruse's Auto Center. They were so helpful and made us a priority. They rebuilt my alternator, and the mechanic even stayed late to get the job done so that we didn't have to stay in a hotel or rent a car. I just wanted to share my experience I had with this shop and the wonderful people that works there. I took the car in as it wasn't running right, they were very busy and couldn't really get to me for a week or so. This was Monday afternoon, The vehicle was dangerous to drive, so I left it with thinking I wasn't going to have a vehicle for over a week. To my surprise, they got my vehicle in the next morning and called to tell me what was wrong with it the next morning. I still wasn't expecting my vehicle until Tuesday or Wednesday the next week. They called me Tuesday evening about 5:10, telling me my vehicle was ready for pick up. I was in total shock, after driving the vehicle it was running right again and I can't tell you how thankful I am to the whole shop for servicing my vehicle and then surprising me again with putting my vehicle as a priority. One of the best maintance shops I've ever been too. I was very impressed with how friendly,informative, and speedy the staff was. they had gave us 2 estimates to chose from the cheapest route and the more expensive. He was able to get my car right in that day and had it ready the next afternoon they replaced 2 ball joints, 2 shocks, wipers, and put 4 new tires. They have gained another regular customer with us!
